chapter 6

What does it all mean?

What does it all mean? The Cat was confused. He did not know what to do next. Therefore, he decided to write a poem. The poem wasw not for others it was for himself.

The Cat sat on the mat.
The Cat sat on the mat next to his fire.
The fire The Cat had made himself.

He had taken paper from the Post Man and firelighters from the shop.
He had a match that he had stolen from his father.
"Children should not play with fire!" his mother had exclaimed. Yet she sent her son to light fires all over the place.
"Children should not steal from thier fathers" his father chimed.
The Cat learned how to make fire and strangers had taught The Cat how to make fires more easily.
The Cat was a fire starter.
